Ammonia combustion with biomass gaseous fuels and hydrogen: from fundamental properties towards engine use
Résumé
The objective of this work is to study the effect of adding ammonia in biomass gaseous fuels and compare it with ammonia/hydrogen blend for internal combustion engine. First, laminar burning velocities and Markstein lengths of various compositions of biomass gaseous fuels as a function of ammonia addition are provided. Last, the effect of adding ammonia in a Spark-ignition engine running on syngas is discussed with some comparisons with NH3/H2 blends.
